Hello, my name is Dan Rogers. I was born and raised in the late 1960's in Santa Barbara, California. I moved to Lompoc, California in 2018 where I became a freelance photographer for the Santa Maria Times, Lompoc Record and the Santa Ynez Valley News. The Pandemic slowed freelance work down quite a bit. I am now looking to expand my business and portfolio to include Family portraits, Individual portraits, Business photos and Models working on their portfolios.
Photography has been a hobby of mine since my Father handed me my first camera when I turned 7 years old. Our family had a makeshift darkroom where I learned to process film and how to create photos with an enlarger and smelly chemicals. It has remained a hobby all of my life. I continued along my photography path by getting better gear and the commitment to keep learning. I am always thinking about creating lasting moments.
